Been listening to the ten meter ham radio band now for most of the morning, and haven’t heard a whole lot in the CW portion at all. Heard lot’s of freebanders, but very little in the 28.000 – 28.100 range at all.

When the bands are quiet like this, it always makes me wonder if things are working properly. One of the first things i do is check the SWR meter and then work my way to connections. I even glanced out the window to make sure the Hygain TH3jr beam was still standing up.

So, what make you crazy when your on the radio ?

When the bands are quiet.

I have a strong passion for all things radio. When I am not writing about different types of radio gear, I am out in the shack working the world on the HF bands, or troubleshooting an older shortwave radio.
